In three (3) cases of Poland Spring bottled water recently bought, no bottle would stand on a hard level surface due to the bottle bottoms having a bulge on the center. Very inconvenient.
The bottles will not stand up, tip over. Pushing the bottoms in doesn't help; they don't fix the bottom surface. The water contents of the bottles don't seem to be affected. I will buy another case of their water and if the problem is evidenced in that case too, I will switch to another brand.
It is my opinion that the problem is a symptom of poor quality control. If such a problem, that is easily detected, cannot be found and corrected before being shipping, how can a consumer be confident that other, more important problems in a food product for human consumption will be proper and safe?
